When planning your ideal itinerary do bear in mind that transfer flights for most islands are to and from Mahe. Also there is often a 10-15kg luggage restriction (soft cases are preferred) on flights to the smaller outlying islands.

Luggage over this limit can still be taken but there may be a charge. Alternatively, you can store excess luggage at the secure left luggage area at Mahe airport.
