Consumer Protection The air holidays and flights in this brochure are ATOL protected, since we hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 5586. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking. Brochure Description We have made every effort to ensure that the information offered by the hotels in this website is accurate. It should be remembered that changes can occur. If we are advised of any changes we will do our utmost to notify you.
Passport and Visa You are required to have a 10-year full British passport, which needs to be valid for at least six months after your return date. You will be required to fill out a visitor's permit, which is issued on arrival and is valid for one month; this can be extended should it be required. Please note it is your responsibility to ensure that all your documentation is in order.
Vaccinations and health We recommend high factor sun lotions, insect repellent and antiseptic creams as a useful medication. No vaccinations are required when visiting the Seychelles. The Department of Health recommends Typhoid, Tetanus, Polio and Hepatitis A. Call free phone 0800 555777 for your FREE T6 booklet. For up to date information we recommend contacting your doctor. Passengers who are more than 28 weeks pregnant will not be accepted by most airlines. Please call for further information.
Flight delays and Transfer times From time to time flight delays will occur. The airline will endeavour to provide refreshments or in the event of an overnight delay, accommodation subject to availability. If you have taken our insurance then delays exceeding 12 hours will be compensated. Inter-Island and accommodation transfer times shown in the brochure are approximate.
Luggage Allowance There is an allowance of 20 kgs for Economy Class & 30 kgs Pearl Class on Air Seychelles. Infants under 2 years travel free but have no baggage allowance other than carrycot and collapsible pushchair. It should be remembered that luggage allowance for flights within the Seychelles is limited to either 10 or 15 kgs. It is advised that valuables including medication are packed in hand luggage.
Seat allocation Allocation of seats is available on a request basis and cannot be guaranteed, so early check in is strongly advised. Air Seychelles and most airlines now operate a non-smoking policy.

- Seychelles Departure Tax, payable locally in hard currency.
- Excursions unless shown on your confirmation invoice, charges made by hotel for the use of certain facilities and extra meals, telephone calls, drinks unless on all-inclusive, etc.
Time The Seychelles is three hours ahead of British Summer Time ( BST ) and four hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time ( GMT ).
Transport As in the UK, driving is on the left-hand side. Buses run on a daily basis. Taxis and Car Hire are widely available. Car Hire can be booked through Seychelles Experience and you will require a valid international or Full Drivers licence.
Language The official language of the Seychelles is Creole, English and French; English being widely spoken.
Currency and money The Seychelles Rupee is divided into 100 cents. The majority of credit cards are widely accepted. Tipping is not essential but welcomed. Due to the Foreign Exchange Regulations, all services at the hotels must be settled in foreign currency or by credit card. Payment in Seychelles Rupees will not be accepted.
Beaches Care should be taken when snorkelling amongst the coral reefs, we recommend the use of waterproof shoes. Please remember that the Seychelles is a protected environment. Seaweed can be expected at certain times of the year. Topless bathing is permitted.
Power Supply Electricity in the Seychelles is the same as the UK (240 volts three pin sockets) but a travel plug is recommended should you spend time cruising or sailing.
Children We have chosen not to detail children's costs due to the complex nature of special offers. As a rule, children under 12 years of age stay FREE when sharing a room with their parents.
